Ceci Bastida’s much-anticipated Veo La Marea will finally see the light, at least in Mexico (out this month on EMI). If you haven’t noticed, we’ve been obsessing over her music lately, all her songs post-Front BC have been absolute knockouts. She recently rocked Vive Latino’s Escenario Verde with Tijuana No! to absolute praise. Ceci shared a link to an old cover she recorded a few years ago for Bow Wow Wow’s generational “Do you wanna hold me.” It’s like the song found a new meaning… “llore toda la noche!”, a stunner.
