Mind-blowing imperialistic new video for De Janeiros’ “Sambódromo”, the third promotional cut out of their debut album
Plateado. The Chilean electronic duo comprised by Milton Mahan and Pablo Muñoz make an imaginative, highly-textured industrial sound, one that can be alienating but revealing if there’s an image along. The aesthetics of this video are rusty and gorgeously analog. This clip embalms the screen with outer space imagery and Rio de Janeiro’s extravagant carnival, taking advantage of its costumes, feathers and breasts to make a sci-fi monumental video.
