Me Hace Ruido Presenta: Jessy Bulbo - "Permanentemente"

Indie-o Music Award back-to-back winning blog Me Hace Ruido has been making some truly beautiful videos, inspired by the Take Away Shows by La Blogotheque. There are dozens of blogs around the world practicing the Vincent Moon narrative, but very few get it right. The sessions from Me Hace Ruido have been nothing short than stunning; they’re super glossy, graciously framed and very informal. Jessy Bulbo is their latest guest, in fact, their most interesting guest so far. We wouldn’t do a NME ‘Cool List’, but if we did, she would be in the Top 10 easily. We still can’t quite describe her Tego Calderon cover in Nosotros Los Rockers; when she sent it, she warned us, “I dare you to listen to it from beginning to end.”

She has released two amazing tracks this year, “Permanentemente” (download here), and “Tirun Dan Diri” (Fonogramaticos Vol.8), both making us drool over her new album. She told us she’s waiting for Martin Thulin to get some free time to polish her record, he’s currently busy recording his own stuff and helming Bam Bam’s upcoming sophomore LP (now on Arts & Crafts MX). Meanwhile, get mesmerized in this awesome performance of "Permanentemente." Also you’ll get to know the other half of the band (marimba guy with the cool glasses), because we keep forgetting that Jessy Bulbo is actually a band! Don't miss their Chava Flores cover of "Dos Horas de Balazos", catch the whole session over at Me Hace Ruido.
